Found in a United States collection rather than sourced in Japan. Checked here by hand: it runs and the crown sets the time. Graded against the same scale as everything else on the shelf.
Tested. It runs, and the crown sets the time. Accuracy over a long wear is unknown, and there is no service record with it.
The black coating is worn through to bare steel along the edge of the bezel, with scuffs on the lugs and case sides.
No chips or cracks seen on the crystal. The dial and hands look good.
The caseback is rated 10 bar, but water resistance is not guaranteed on a pre-owned watch.
The strap is an aftermarket black nylon zulu, not an original Seiko part. The original bracelet is not included.
Grade Good. The worn coating at the bezel edge is the main mark against it, and there is no service history to hand. Priced for both.
Includes: The watch on the aftermarket black zulu strap. No box, no papers.
Shipping & returns
Shipping
Every piece ships insured from California, packed the way we’d want our own sent. US orders usually arrive in 2 to 4 business days. Canada takes 5 to 10, with tracking, and any duties are settled at the border.
Returns
You have 14 days from delivery. If a piece isn’t what you expected, we’d rather have it back than have you keep something you don’t love. Send it back in the condition it arrived and we’ll refund the item price in full. Return postage is on you, unless the piece arrived not as described, in which case we cover it.
Servicing & what “vetted” means
Vetted means one of us went through the piece by hand, worked every function, serviced it, and graded it against the scale on The Standard, with the faults written into the listing.
